Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Equisteg, a business registered in India (registered address: <Equisteg registered address>), which operates InvoiceKit (the website and the Android app). By using InvoiceKit or buying Pro you accept them.

1. The service

InvoiceKit is an online software service that lets you create invoices, quotes, receipts and credit notes in your browser or app. The free version is supported by advertising. Pro is an optional paid digital licence that removes ads and adds the features listed on the pricing page.

2. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the documents you create: their accuracy, the tax you charge, the details you include and whether they meet the rules that apply to you. Do not use InvoiceKit to create false, fraudulent or misleading documents, or for anything unlawful.

3. Not professional advice

Country guides, tax rates, hints and validations are general information, checked against official sources on the date shown, and may be incomplete or out of date. They are not tax, accounting, financial or legal advice. Check with your tax authority or a qualified professional. InvoiceKit does not issue government e-invoices (for example India’s IRN or Kenya’s eTIMS).

4. Your data

Your documents are stored on your device only. Clearing browser data, using private browsing or uninstalling the app can delete them permanently, and we cannot recover them. Export backups of anything you need to keep.

5. Prices and payment

  • Pro on the web is sold by Equisteg. Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited (“Razorpay”), a payment gateway; your card, UPI, net-banking or wallet details are entered on Razorpay’s secure checkout and never reach us. Razorpay’s own terms also apply to the payment.
  • Prices in Indian rupees include GST. Prices in US dollars are the final amount charged; your bank may add its own conversion or foreign-transaction fee.
  • Pro Yearly is a subscription charged once a year until you cancel. Pro Lifetime is a single payment with no renewal. Pro Monthly is sold only in the Android app through Google Play.
  • We may change prices for future purchases or renewals; we will tell you before a changed price applies to a renewal.

6. Shipping and delivery

Pro is a digital service; nothing is shipped. It is delivered instantly: as soon as Razorpay confirms your payment, Pro switches on in the browser you bought it in, and you are shown your licence key (the Razorpay payment or subscription ID, which is also in your receipt email). If activation is delayed, for example while a payment is processing, paste that ID on the Restore Pro page or email support@equisteg.com and we will activate it, normally within one working day.

7. Pro licences

  • A licence is for your own business use. You may use it in the browsers you personally use; do not share or resell licence keys.
  • You can cancel Pro Yearly at any time; Pro stays active until the end of the year you paid for. Lifetime licences have no renewal.
  • Access ends when a purchase is refunded or charged back, or when a cancelled subscription reaches the end of its term. Refunds and cancellation follow our refund and cancellation policy.
  • We may change Pro features for future purchases; we will not remove the core features you paid for during a paid term.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep InvoiceKit available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update or change the service and these terms; the date above shows the latest version.

9. Liability

InvoiceKit is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Equisteg is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or losses arising from errors in documents you create. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
